In these one-week workshops, campers polish singing, dancing, and acting skills while learning a musical in a week! MTM: Six: The Musical (Grades 6-12)

July 8 – July 14, 2024

From Tudor Queens to Pop Icons, the SIX wives of Henry VIII take the microphone to reclaim their identities out of the shadow of their infamous spouse – remixing five hundred years of historical heartbreak into a Euphoric Celebration of 21st-century girl power! This new original musical is the global sensation that everyone is losing their head over!

MTM:  & Juliet

July 29 – August 2, 2024

& Juliet flips the script on the greatest love story ever told, imagining what would happen next if Juliet hadn’t ended it all over Romeo and got a second chance at life and love – on her terms. Juliet’s new story bursts to life through a playlist of pop anthems as iconic as her name, all written by Max Martin and his collaborators, including “Since U Been Gone,” “Roar,” “Baby One More Time,” “Larger Than Life,” “That’s The Way It Is,” “Can’t Stop the Feeling,” and many more. Join us for a final sharing on Friday, August 2nd.

Triple Threat ($325)

August 19 – 23, 2024

Triple Threat gives Campers the opportunity to work on musical numbers from some of the most well-known musicals on Broadway, as well as great songs from the world of musical theatre. Daily classes in acting, singing, and dancing will help bring the modern American musical to life. All experience levels are welcome. Campers will create a ‘review’ using the musical numbers worked on during camp to be shared with friends and family. Join us for a final sharing on Friday, August 23rd.

Showtime Production Camps ($635)

No matter what your experience level, you need to join us for our SHOWTIME! Production Camps this summer.  These 2-week camps give young performers an opportunity to rehearse and perform a play or musical with a professional director, choreographer, and music director.  There are plenty of amazing roles in all our shows, too!

James and the Giant Peach, Jr.

June 17 – June 29, 2024

Based on one of Roald Dahl’s most poignantly quirky stories, Roald Dahl’s James and the Giant Peach JR. is a brand new take on this “masterpeach” of a tale.  Featuring a wickedly tuneful score and a witty and charming book, this adventurous musical about courage and self-discovery is destined to be a classic. When James is sent by his conniving aunts to chop down their old fruit tree, he discovers a magic potion that grows a tremendous peach, rolls into the ocean, and launches a journey of enormous proportions

*Performances are Friday, June 28th, at 3 PM and 6 PM, and Saturday, June 29th, at 1 PM and 4 PM at the Charles A. Brown Historic Ice House.

Seussical the Musical, Jr.

July 16 – July 27, 2024

Seussical is a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty (Lucky Stiff, My Favorite Year, Once on This Island, Ragtime) have lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in the Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, lazy Mayzie and a little boy with a big imagination – Jojo. The colorful characters transport us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos.

*Performances are Friday, July 26th, at 3 PM and 6 PM, and Saturday, July 27th, at 1 PM and 4 PM at the Charles A. Brown Historic Ice House.

Mean Girls, Jr. (Grades 6-12)

August 5 – 17, 2024

Cady Heron may have grown up on an African savanna, but nothing prepared her for the wild and vicious ways of her strange new home: suburban Illinois. How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady devises a plan to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.

*Performances are Friday, August 16th, at 3 PM and 6 PM, and Saturday, August 17th, at 1 PM and 4 PM at the Charles A. Brown Historic Ice House.
