VOICE
Students are offered opportunities to train in vocal music with
private and small group classes. Our vocal program specializes in
teaching young people interested in Musical Theatre.
VOICE - PRIVATE INSTRUCTION - Ages 7 - 18
Students gain an overview of how the singing voice
is produced and learn breathing techniques and production of tone
through practical exercises and singing. Source material includes
classical repertoire and Broadway scores. All students will be
featured in a Holiday concert Dec 3rd, and a Spring Concert April
1st. Private Voice students not concurrently enrolled in PYT's
FULL-YEAR PROGRAM will be placed on a waiting list. After September
1, available appointments will be filled from the waiting list in
the order received.

VOICE - SEMI-PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Ages 8 - 18
Find your own singing partner or we'll try to team you with a
student of compatible age and level. Instruction will focus on basic
technique through singing duets from Broadway repertoire.

VOICE - SMALL GROUP - Grades 3 - 8
This 9-week program will help students develop the skills and
confidence to audition for musicals. Students learn how to read
music, become better acquainted with voice production, and explore
character work through chorus numbers from well-known musicals.
Enroll for one or more sessions.
